Created to make your everyday banking more convenient:

  • Biometrics - log in and confirm payments with your fingerprint or face ID
  • Mobile contactless payments - pay with your phone
  • Widget - see your account balance

Changes for app users using iPhones

From 8 February 2021 we will stop supporting iOS12 operating system. Customers using iPhone 5S, iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPad Mini 2, IPad Mini 3, iPad Air and iPod touch (6th gen.) will not be able to update the app anymore.

How does it affect our app users?

  • It will be possible to continue using the app, but it won’t be possible to update it and use the latest features that come with the new updates.
  • If the app is deleted from the device, it will not be possible to download it again.
  • For those customers who are not able to download the Swedbank app anymore, we suggest using the internet browser on the mobile device to access Internet Banking.

What's new!

My Budget

From 9th of September we are also gradually rolling out the My Budget tool in the Swedbank mobile app. This will let you see a categorized overview of all your expenses also on your phone.

How to use it in the mobile app

  • If you’re not already a user of My Budget tool, then to see it in the mobile app, first click on the link “Detailed view” next to Expenses in the Overview tab, give your consent and it will automatically appear in the mobile app.
  • To be able to see and manage the full version of My Budget tool on your phone, click on the link “Detailed view”.

Payments to a phone number

From now on you can transfer money to others by their phone number only! Set up proxy payments with these simple steps:

  • Link your phone number to your bank account in Swedbank mobile app.
  • When making a new transfer in the app, choose to find the recipient from your phone contacts or enter it phone number manually.

Biometric data is the most convenient way to access your Swedbank app and internet bank. It allows you to use your most unique data, such as fingerprint or facial features, in order to:

  • Securely log in
  • View account balance instantly
  • Confirm payments (up to 100 Eur 10 times in a row)
  • Access internet bank without additional login via app menu section “Services”.

Mobile contactless payments

What could be more convenient than being able to pay with your phone?

  • Standard card purchase limits apply to paying with Android smartphones and Apple Pay, if you use biometric authentication.
  • Payments are possible in most stores in Estonia and in many places all over the world.
  • Secure and convenient.

In addition to the new features we also have updated your old favorites, so you can continue enjoying them at a new level.

To check your account balance quickly:

  • set up the widget on your home screen
  • tap on icon
  • view your account balance without logging in to the app

This is the reason why a split bill is no longer a headache.

  • Up to €500 per request
  • Send requests by e-mail or by other means free of charge

Android smartphone users can make money request also with QR code.

  • Prepare the money request
  • Choose request with QR code
  • Show your phone screen to people near you so they can scan the code to start a payment

Get notified about changes in your account free of charge.

  • For example, we’ll let you know when you have received a transfer or paid with your card
  • It’s up to you to decide which notifications to get

We know that sometimes payments need to be made urgently. So we've grouped your payments and made them easier to navigate. Take a look at:

View all your transactions in one place, both payments and card transactions in a single overview.

The new app Swedbank Eestis is available for any smart device (phone, tablet, etc.) with the following software versions:

  • iOS: 13.0 or later
  • Android: 5.0 or later

Contactless payments

For using mobile contactless payments:

  • the operating system has to be Android 6.0 or later
  • you must have a Swedbank card with the contactless payment function enabled


For using biometrics you need the following software versions:

  • Android 6.0 or later
  • iOS 13.0 of later
