What's new

App PIN code

We would like to introduce you a new authentication method - a PIN code.

  • It’s easy – when logging in or confirming a payment, just enter your PIN code and that’s it.
  • Secure – the PIN code is not stored on your phone and only you know it.
  • Versatile – you can use the PIN to log in, confirm payments up to 100 € in the app and in internet bank.
  • A good backup –it’s good to have at least 2 means to log in and confirm payments, just in case.

View your card’s PIN code in the app

You can now check your card’s PIN code in the Swedbank app. It’s secure, easy, and will help you remember it if you forget your PIN code.

  • Easy: View your PIN code in the Cards section in the app.
  • Secure: Your PIN code can only be viewed with your authentication.
  • Convenient: No need to order a new card if you ever forget your PIN code.
  • Personalized: The PIN code can be viewed by the person, whose name is on the card and who can manage the card in the app.

To view your card’s PIN code in the app, log in and tap on the "Cards" section in the bottom menu. Choose your card and click "Card PIN". After tapping, confirm it with your chosen authentication method. The card’s PIN code is shown for 30 seconds. Do not show your PIN code to other people.

Digitized cards

Now you can manage your digitized cards in different digital wallets and see linked service providers (if they support digitized card solution).

  • See a list of places that you have linked your digitized card to. This includes digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Fitbit Pay, Garmin Pay, and others, as well as services with recurring payments like Netflix, Spotify and others
  • You can also manage your digitized cards in digital wallets by blocking or deleting them
  • Available for all Mastercard payment cards

Receive money from a friend by sending a request in a text message, e-mail or instant message.

  • Prepare the money request in the "Payments" section of the app
  • Choose how to send the request link (text message, e-mail or otherwise)
  • Select the person you wish to send money to from the contact list
  • Swedbank customers can make the payment by simply opening the link from the request
  • The maximum amount per request is 500 EUR

Android smartphone users can also make a money request with a QR code.

  • Prepare the money request

  • Show your phone screen to a person near you so they can scan the code to start a payment

Transfer money to others by using only their phone number. Set it up with these simple steps.

  • Link your phone number to your bank account in Swedbank mobile app to receive these payments
  • When making a new transfer in the app, choose to find the recipient from your phone contacts or enter the phone number manually
  • You can invite others to link their phone numbers to their bank accounts to transfer money by phone number to each other

  • Services, where card has been digitized for recurring payments, such as “Netflix”, “Amazon”, “Uber” and similar.

Contactless payments

For using mobile contactless payments:

  • the operating system has to be Android 6.0 or later
  • you must have a Swedbank card with the contactless payment function enabled

Biometrics

To use biometrics, the software version must be at least:

  • Android 6.0
  • iOS 15.0
  • Always protect your smartphone or tablet with a password.
  • Don't let others use your smartphone or tablet.
  • Regularly verify the accuracy of your payments.
  • Have an anti-virus app installed.
  • Always follow the instructions from your smartphone manufacturer when enabling biometrics.
