Get started with Click to Pay

  1. Open the Swedbank app
  2. Choose the card you wish to add
  3. Press “Click to Pay” and follow the instructions

When making a payment, select Click to Pay and follow the instructions to create your profile.

You can then manage your cards by going to the Mastercard website and logging into your profile.

Mastercard Click to Pay is a convenient and secure way to pay online with your card. By adding your card to Click to Pay, you can make purchases without entering a password or card details. With Click to Pay you can simplify and speed up online payments and online shopping is safer because you don’t need to enter card data every time. Click to Pay works on all devices – phones, computers, and tablets – as well as across all browsers.

Click to Pay is available at many online stores worldwide. To make a purchase, look for the Click to Pay icon and either add your card or use previously saved card details.

If your card is already added to your Click to Pay profile and you’ve used this device before, the system will recognize you via your email or phone number.

Sometimes, you may need to verify your identity with a one-time code. Just follow the on-screen instructions and choose the card you want to use.

No, using Click to Pay is free of charge.

Minimum requirements:

  • Card with enabled internet purchases
  • An active phone number
  • Access to your email address
  • An online store that offers Click to Pay as a payment method

You can do this in two ways.

Via the Swedbank mobile app:

  1. Open the Swedbank app.
  2. Select the card you want to add.
  3. Tap “Click to Pay”.
  4. Check your contact info, read and accept the terms.
  5. Confirm with PIN2.

Via an online store

  1. When checking out, choose Click to Pay.
  2. Follow the instructions to create your profile.
All Swedbank-issued cards can be added, except temporary ATM cards.
  • Make sure your card is active and internet purchases enabled (check under “Cards” > “My Cards” in internet banking).
  • Ensure you’re using the latest version of the Swedbank app – restart and try again.
  • Check your Click to Pay profile by logging in with your email on the Mastercard Click to Pay page.
  • Try adding the card during checkout at an online store that supports Click to Pay.
  • Check your card limits and account balance.
  • Try a different browser.
  • Review your Click to Pay profile to ensure your card is registered and info is up to date.
  • Contact the merchant to confirm they accept your card and check for technical issues.

Visit the Mastercard Click to Pay website and enter your email or phone number to:

  • Manage added cards
  • Add or change delivery addresses
  • Update your phone number
  • Manage devices and browsers where Click to Pay info is saved
  • Delete your Click to Pay profile

Important: Your email address (used as your username) cannot be changed. To update it, you must delete your current profile and create a new one with the new email.

If you no longer have access to the device and want to remove a card, go to Mastercard page, select “View profile”, and remove the cards you no longer wish to use.

Click to Pay is designed to meet the highest security standards at every step.

  • It uses tokenization technology, replacing physical card data with a unique code. Even if someone accesses this data, it’s unusable because the card info isn’t shared with the merchant.
  • Additional security includes two-factor authentication, such as a one-time confirmation code. Sometimes, an extra verification step may be required to ensure only the cardholder completes the purchase.
