When to pay back your used credit limit?

  • Interest is not calculated from the used credit limit from the purchase until the 10th day of each month.

How does the repayment work?

  • On the repayment date, the used amount is automatically withheld from the account related to the card. If there are insufficient funds, the interest accruing starts and you can repay the used limit and interest anytime later.

  • It applies to most purchases incl. clothing, sports equipment, tech gadgets etc. for 365 days from the day you received the goods.

When will it come in handy?

  • Cost of tickets if you or your family member cannot attend a scheduled event due to illness, death or accident, problems with transportation or other reasons listed in Purchase insurance terms & conditions.
  • Applies to events in Estonia if ticket is purchased with theusing any of Your Swedbank ´s card or account in Swedbank. Protection applies to events such as concerts, conferences, theater, and sports matches.
  • Buy tickets using any of Your Swedbank´s card or account in Swedbank. The insurance cover enters into force upon the conclusion of the Credit Card agreement and remains in force for as long as the Credit Card agreement continues in force.
  • Total insured tickets amount per calendar year is €1000.
  • There is no deductible, but minimum claim amount (total cost of unused tickets) should be not less than €30.

When will it come in handy?

This protection applies to purchase from online store, if it was delivered damaged or wasn’t delivered at all, and merchant has refused to compensate your loss, resend or replace the product.

How does it work?

Purchase paid with card is protected by a card transaction claim. If your purchase has been delivered broken or hasn’t been delivered at all, submit card transaction claim via internet bank within 90 days since date of purchasing.

For card transaction claim compensation amount is sum of your purchase.

Choose the correct reason for filing the claim (“Service not provided / merchandise not received” or “Goods / services received are defective / not as described”) and fill out the required fields. Also upload necessary documents for example correspondance with the merchant.

How to Apply

If not, follow these easy steps:

  1. Apply for the credit card in the Internet bank.
  2. We will inform you about the decision by phone or via SMS.
  3. Read the conditions, accept them and sign the agreement.
  4. After signing the agreement, you can immediately start using credit card limit.
  5. Your card will arrive within 7-10 working days. When ordering abroad, it will arrive within 1-2 weeks.
  6. When you receive your card, log into the Internet bank and activate it there. You can activate the card between 7 and 22 o'clock.

Income

  • Your after-tax income must be at least 670 EUR per month.
  • You must be earning a steady income for at least 6 consecutive months and your probation period must be over.

Obligations

  • Monthly expenses for covering your credits must not exceed 40% of your monthly income.
  • You must be earning a steady income for at least 6 consecutive months and your probation period must be over.
  • You do not have outstanding credits in Swedbank or from other creditors or outstanding bills for different services.
  • Be ready to submit the official documents evidencing the receipt of the income if the expected source of repayment is not a salary/wages.

Once you have created your account, download the LoungeKey™ app, log in with your account and enjoy the benefits like:

Arriving at the lounge, make sure to bring your Platinum credit card and open the QR code in the LoungeKey app. Your card will be swiped or scanned to register your visit.

For Extra package holders

  • Only you as the card holder can enjoy 20 airport lounge visits per calendar year without any extra costs with the Platinum Extra package. From your 21st visit, the full price will apply. When registering at a lounge, the standard visiting fee of 30 EUR will be reserved but will not be debited from the credit card account. The reservation will be cancelled within ten days.
  • Accompanying visitors will always need to pay full price.
  • Apply for the Extra package in the Internet Bank on the page My cards.
