Google Pay™

Make your payments with Google Pay™. Quickly and easily.

  • Pay in any place where contactless payments are accepted.

  1. Open Swedbank app, choose business customer profile and go to the “Cards” section.
  2. Choose which card you would like to enrol and click on the card picture.
  3. Make sure contactless payments are allowed and enabled for your card.
  4. Tap “Add to Google Pay” button below business card.
  5. Set Google Pay as your default mobile contactless payments app via the onboarding process, in Swedbank App or your device settings.
  6. That’s it! Now you can just blip and go!

The user who has access to Teleagreement with any profile (except payment preparation) and who already can see their cards in mobile app, will have the possibility to enrol their own (only own) card to Google Pay.

Important to know!

Adding a card to Google Pay does not disable Swedbank own mobile contactless payments feature. But Google Pay set as default, you still can use Swedbank’s own wallet manually (tap on «Pay with this Card»).

The mobile contactless payment technology makes purchases quick and easy!

You can pay with Google Pay anywhere you see the contactless payments symbol at the checkout:

  1. Unlock your smartphone.
  2. Tap your smartphone against the card terminal.

Card purchase limits apply.

Only one card can be set as a default card. If you want to use different card for payment, you should change default card in card setting in app.

Google Pay is only available for Android devices running the Android operating system version 5.0 or above.

Remember: In order to use Google Pay, you need to have an active Swedbank Mastercard card with its contactless payments function enabled.

Here you can see the Mastercard contactless cards, that can be used for mobile contactless payments:

  • Enable Google Pay only on your own device. Do not share your mobile device.
  • Do not use a weak password or a weak pattern for your screen lock.
  • Update the software on your mobile device regularly.
  • Have an anti-virus app installed.
  • Use official app stores only. Even if you do use official app stores, stay vigilant. Read reviews and feedback about the app you want to download before installing it.
  • If you lose your device or it is stolen, disable Swedbank services on the device via the Internet Bank or by calling 6 132 222.

When using Google Pay your payment is protected with multiple layers of security so you can pay with peace of mind – all the time.

Purchases, just like all card purchases, are covered by the bank’s protection against fraud, so you can shop stress-free.
