  • The same credit limit can be used by several users, if you set each of them personal purchase and cash transaction limits.
  • By adjusting the user rights settings you can allow or disable various card transactions like payments, withdrawals, deposits, contactless functionality and account statement or balance requests.
  • User rights and limits can be changed by the legal representative of the company who, according to the commercial register, is authorised to represent the company alone, by using Smart-ID, Mobile-ID or ID-card.
  • The card can only be issued to companies that have operated for at least six months.
  • When applying for a credit card, you must specify the desired credit limit, card holder(s), purchase and cash withdrawal limits.
  • Depending on the company’s turnover and credit history, the minimum credit limit is 1000 € and the maximum 32 000 €.
  • Please be aware that during limit granting process some additional documents could be requested. For example your last annual report if it is not submitted to the commercial register. The submitted balance and income statement must not be older than 12 months.
  • In case of a positive financing decision card will be delivered within 7 business days:

    • By post to the company’s contact address anywhere in the world (delivery to abroad can be longer).
      For security reasons, cards are sent by post inactive.
    • At any Swedbank branch of your choice.
  • The agreement must be signed by legal representative. If agreement is signed, then:

    • The card must be activated via Internet Bank by user who has at least info and payment profile user rights;
    • in branch card will be issued to legal representative or to card holder.
  • Card will be automatically renewed if company and card holder meet the conditions set by bank.
    You can change the delivery method and contact address for a card via the Internet Bank not later than 35 days before the expiry date of existing card.
  • Renewed credit card will be delivered at least two weeks before the expiry of the old card to your company's contact address or a suitable branch.
  • Renewed cards will have their former PIN.

  • Sending the card by post is free of charge anywhere in the world.
  • Make sure that your company's contact address is correct before ordering the card.
  • Your company's contact address changes automatically if you change the card delivery address.

documentTerms of usage of Cards for business

If you receive card via post:

  • If the agreement is already signed, the card can be activated in the Internet Bank by user who has at least “info and payment” user rights.
  • If the agreement was not signed, it can only be activated with together with agreement signing.
  • A card agreement could be signed by the company’s legal representative who has the sole right of representation according to the commercial register with Smart- ID, Mobile-ID or ID-card.

At branch:

  • The card is activated by a branch employee before handing it over.
  • If card agreement is already signed, then the card could picked up by legal representative or card holder. If not – then card will be issued only to legal representative.
Activate card
  • Card purchases have an interest free period of up to 40 days. Calculation will start from the time of purchase until the 1st date of the following month. Interest is calculated from the moment you make a credit transfer or withdraw cash from your credit card account.
  • Any credit limit spent and not repaid by the 10th date is automatically transferred from the current account linked to the credit card. Interest starts to accrue if the current account lacks funds for automatic repayment of the whole amount used.
  • Optionally, you can pay additional own funds into the credit card account to increase the limit available on the card, or repay the outstanding limit at any time.
  • In order to obtain complete information about the transactions, one must take account of the statuses assigned to each type of transaction. Details of all transactions already debited are available in the credit card’s account statement, whereas purchases that have the interest-free period are in the list of the same account’s reservations.
  • If you suspect you have lost your card, you can temporarily disable it through our mobile app. You have 10 days to reopen your card if you should find it or it will be automatically closed.
  • If a bank card is stolen, it must be closed immediately. You could do it by calling our business client consultation center on 6 132 222.
  • If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour Visa help centre +1 410 581 9994.

You can dispute a card transaction sending the bank message, call to consultation center 6 132 222 or turn to nearest branch if:

  • you discover that your account statement includes transactions for which you did not aware of or not reach an agreement with the merchant or service provider;
  • an ATM fails to make a deposit or a withdrawal. For instance, in cases when an ATM does not issue cash upon withdrawal, but the sum is debited from the account or when a deposit is not added to your account.
  • Many expenses related with unwanted travel changes (flight cancellations, delays, travel interruption etc.).
  • COVID-19 cover.
  • Lost or stolen luggage.
  • Injuries while traveling (incl. skiing, swimming pool accidents etc.).
  • Need of legal assistance.
  • Trip cancellation due to illness.
  • And other situations.

The credit card includes free extensive travel insurance package, which applies to the card holder as well as 3 colleagues travelling with him/her across the whole world.

The documentsums insured apply for all insurance cases, regardless of how many times they occur during the trip.

The travel insurance is provided by Swedbank P&C Insurance AS branch in Estonia.

Your company's financial security is one of Swedbank's top priorities. We encourage you to be responsible users of payment cards and to observe the security conditions for payment cards usage.

  • Only the cardholder - the person whose name appears on the card - may use the card. Do not let anyone, even a close person, to use the card issued in another person’s name.
  • Make sure that you as a cardholder always know where your payment card is.
  • If you pay by card, do not let the person serving you take it to a back room on their own because card data may be stolen.
  • Always check the transaction amount that you approve with the card.
  • Check card transactions regularly via Business Internet Banking or the Swedbank mobile app. If any transaction seems suspicious, please contact the bank immediately.
  • It is not recommended to send card number by post or disclose it over the telephone when making a purchase because card data may be misused for fraudulent transactions but, if there are no other options, please be extra careful.
  • Be careful when using the ATMs of other banks. Some ATMs return payment card before dispensing the money. Make sure that you collect your payment card and the requested amount of cash before you leave the ATM.
  • In case of a new card, the PIN is issued in a separate envelope. Renewed card will keep its former PIN.
  • Do not tell or show the PIN to anyone, not even to bank employees.
  • Memorise it, do not write down the PIN on the card or anywhere else where it can be seen by others.
  • Try to enter the PIN so that no one else can see it. The card can be stolen and be used by somebody else. If the card with PIN code is used by a thief, it is the customer’s own responsibility.
  • If you suspect that the PIN has become known to someone else or if the bank has notified you of the need to change your PIN, you must change it immediately. It can be done at any Swedbank ATM. When selecting new PIN, do not re-use your old PIN.
  • Do not use identical PIN codes for different cards.
  • In security reasons it is allowed to insert PIN wrongly only 2 times. After 3rd time PIN will be automatically blocked:

    • If you block your PIN in POS then you can unblock it in ATM by inserting the correct one in first time.
    • If you block your PIN in ATM or can’t remember the PIN, you need to order the new card.
  • If a bank card is lost or stolen, it must be closed immediately. This can be done on the Business Internet Banking site, the mobile app or by calling our business client consultation centre on 6 132 222. For security reasons, we advise cardholders to keep Swedbank's phone number in their phone's memory.
  • If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour MasterCard card foreign helpline +1 636 722 7111 (charged) or VISA card 24h international assistance line on +1 410 581 9994 (charged).

Take care of your safety with Travel insurance which now includes COVID-19 cover.

For business trips taking place from 6 May 2021 we're offering a Travel Insurance COVID-19 cover for Business Gold Credit Card holders at no additional fee. It provides increased risk protection and protection against unexpected expenses for cardholders and 3 colleagues travelling together. The cover is automatically valid while aboard if any of the preconditions apply:

  • negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to the start of the trip;
  • confirmation that you have been infected with COVID-19 within the last 6 months and you are recovered;
  • full vaccination certificate.

Preconditions are not needed if trip is cancelled due to COVID-19 sickness or self-isolation before the trip.

For example, we will compensate coronavirus related medical expenses abroad, travel disruption costs if you are not allowed to enter to public transport due to COVID-19 symptoms and travel cancellation costs if you have received a positive coronavirus test or you are a close contact person. Travel disruption caused by authorities (e.g. closed borders, lockdowns) is not covered.
