Swedbank Estonia Management

Head of Swedbank Estonia together with other members of the Management Board and the extended Management Team are responsible for Swedbank Estonia’s day-to-day operations in accordance with Swedbank Group’s strategic direction and established policies, and in compliance with the external regulations. The Management Board ensures the proper accounting and effective internal control systems. The Management Board reports to the Council.

The Council

The Council is a supervising body responsible for overseeing the activities of Swedbank Estonia and its Management Board, including supervising that Swedbank Estonia has sound and effective risk management, internal control, governance, nomination and remuneration process and auditing in place. The Internal Audit is reporting directly to the Council. The Council committees – Audit Committee, Risk Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee are assisting the Council in fulfilling its responsibilities.

Swedbank Liising AS

Swedbank Liising AS is a subsidiary of Swedbank Estonia and started its business operations in Estonia back in 1993. In following years, leasing subsidiaries in Latvia and Lithuania were launched. Today it is one of the largest leasing and factoring companies in the Baltics, offering cars, trucks and other equipment financing services, including financial lease, operating lease and operating lease with services.

Swedbank Life Insurance SE

Life Insurance SE with company’s headquarters in Estonia provides life insurance and financial services in all Baltic countries. That comprises both term life and saving insurance, including pension insurance.

Swedbank P&C Insurance AS

Established in 2006 in Estonia, Swedbank P&C Insurance AS is a non-life insurance company. Swedbank P&C Insurance AS operates through its branches in Latvia and Lithuania as well, and provides a range of non-life insurance services, including CASCO insurance (motor own damage or MOD), MTPL insurance (motor third party liability), home and apartment building insurance, travel insurance, purchase insurance and payment protection insurance.

Swedbank Investeerimisfondid AS

Established in 1994, Swedbank Investeerimisfondid AS is owned by Swedbank Robur AB, which is a part of Swedbank Group. Swedbank Investeerimisfondid AS is the first and largest investment management company in Estonia offering best investment expertise, world class investment solutions and competence in the management of pension funds. The company manages II pillar pension funds, III pillar pensions funds and institutional portfolios.

Swedbank Baltics AS

Swedbank Baltics AS is a sole shareholder of Swedbank Estonia. Swedbank Baltics AS together with its subsidiary banks, including Swedbank Estonia, forms the Baltic consolidation group, supervised by the European Central Bank.

Swedbank Baltics AS provides the strategic guidance to Swedbank Estonia and coordinates the business development and processes, enabling Swedbank Estonia to benefit from Swedbank Group synergies. Swedbank Baltics AS is a holding company and does not provide financial services and has no customers.
