    Swedbank has been ranked as the most competitive company in the Estonian financial sector. The ranking was compiled by the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Estonian Employers’ Confederation.

  • Swedbank has the best reputation among Estonia's large companies

    According to the annual survey carried out by TNS Emor on the awareness and reputation of large companies, Swedbank has the best reputation for the sixth consecutive year. This year's result is Swedbank's best over the last five years.

  • Swedbank: Communication Team of the Year 2012

    Hammer & Hanborg annually nominate four communication duos for the Communication Team of the Year award. Michael Wolf, CEO Swedbank, and Thomas Backteman, Head of Corporate Affairs, Swedbank were the winners.

  • ‘Back to School’ initiative receives Open Estonia Foundation award

    The Open Estonia Foundation presented its 2013 Concord award – this year’s recipient being the ‘Back to School’ initiative, of which Swedbank is the strategic partner. ‘Back to School’ was considered worthy of the award for the fact that it opens up borders, unites different areas of life, different experiences and different generations and helps to shape a more cohesive, more open and more intelligent Estonia.

  • Swedbank recognised as culture-friendly company

    Minister of Culture Rein Lang recognised companies who have long supported Estonian culture and awarded three with ‘Friend of Culture of the Year’ titles. Swedbank was recognised as culture-friendly company.

  • Euromoney: Swedbank Private Banking is the best in Estonia

    The global finance magazine Euromoney has recognised the services of Swedbank Private Banking as the best in Estonia in 2013. The range of Swedbank’s investment products was also recognised as the best by Euromoney.

  • Estonian Health Tracks Foundation earns award

    Estonian Health Tracks Foundation received the International Olympic Committee’s Sport and Environment Award. The Foundation was established by three companies – Merko Ehitus, Eesti Energia and Swedbank – to ensure year-round opportunities for pursuit health sports.

  • Swedbank’s K3 pension fund named best in Central and Eastern Europe

    Investment & Pensions Europe, the continent’s most respected magazine on the topic, has named Swedbank’s K3 pension fund as the best in Central and Eastern Europe.

  • Swedbank recognised for responsible business

    According to the results of the Corporate Responsibility Index 2012 Swedbank ranked among the highest companies, achieving the gold level. The corporate responsibility quality label was awarded to a total of 33 companies.

  • Swedbank - worlds best in mobile banking

    Global Finance Magazine has stated that Swedbank businessclients mobile bank app is the best in the world. This is the 13th year Global Finance has named the World’s Best Internet Banks.

  • Swedbank in Estonia got "Act of the Year 2012" award from Estonian Blind Peoples Accociation

    This summer Swedbank in Estonia installed aids for the blind and visually impaired people (specially marked keyboard, headphones and voice-activation) on its 6 ATMs. Estonian Blind Peoples Accociation named this Act of the year 2012.

  • Swedbank named most responsible company of the year

    Swedbank in Estonia was presented with the title of 'Most Responsible Company of the Year 2012' at the Tallinn City Enterprise Board awards ceremony, recognizing socially active companies and organizations. Swedbank has been promoting corporate sustainability both internally and outside of the company for many years.

  • Swedbank and Swedbank Robur awarded for charity products

    Swedbank was doubly awarded at “The [profit for Non Profit] Award”. Swedbank Robur was, for the second consecutive year, named “Leading European Charity Fund Provider” for the charity fund Swedbank Robur Humanfond and the WWF-card received first place in the Bank Card category. “The [profit For Non Profit] Awards“ are organised by Axylia Conseil with the main focus on raising the profile of the best of affinity and charity solutions in the European market.

  • Swedbank in Latvia ranks 2nd in the Reputation Top and has the best reputation among banks

    On Tuesday, 12 June, the results of the Latvian Business Reputation Top 2012 were announced and Swedbank was ranked 2nd in the overall reputation top, which was the best placements of all Latvian banks. Swedbank was also named as the employer with the best reputation in Latvia. Launched in 2004, the Latvian Business Reputation Top is a joint project by Porter Novelli and the business magazine Lietišķā Diena.

  • Swedbank’s Financial Planner was voted best Estonian Banking Act of 2011

    In the Best Banking Act contest organized by the Estonian Banking Association, the jury voted Swedbank’s Financial Planner as the best banking service of 2011.

  • Swedbank awarded Gold Status and Family Friendly Business title in the Sustainability Index

    Swedbank has been awarded Gold Status in Latvia’s Sustainability Index assessment 2012. Swedbank also received the Family Friendly Business title which is awarded by the Ministry of Welfare in cooperation with the Sustainability Index.

  • Swedbank has the best reputation of all companies in Estonia

    According to TNS Emor’s survey “Awareness and image of large enterprises in Estonia 2012”, Swedbank is the Most Reputable Large Company in Estonia 2012. This is the fifth consecutive year that Swedbank holds the position of being the reputation leader and the best-known company among large companies in Estonia.

  • Swedbank best in equity derivatives

    Swedbank is best in Sweden in equity derivatives, according to TNS SIFO Prospera’s first ranking of equity derivatives trading in Sweden. The study, which is based on interviews with 42 institutions, includes 10 Nordic and 12 international brokerages.

  • Swedbank in Lithuania awarded National Responsible Business Award

    Swedbank in Lithuania has received the Responsible Business Award in the Environmental category for engaging and educating clients and suppliers in the area of sustainable development. Swedbank has previously received the Responsible Business Award in 2007, 2008 and 2010.

  • Swedbank awarded "Baltic Financial Adviser of the Year"

    The Financial Times and Mergermarket celebrated on December 8, the fifth annual European M&A Awards, recognising excellence in corporate, private equity, banking and legal M&A expertise. The "Baltic Financial Adviser of the Year" was awarded to Swedbank Markets.

  • Swedbank once again named most responsible company in Estonia

    According to the Estonian Corporate Responsibility index Swedbank is the most responsible company in the country. Last year Swedbank ranked 2nd and the year before shared the first place with Tallinna Vesi AS.

  • Swedbank in top of Folksam Index for corporate responsibility

    Folksam’s Index for corporate responsibility is based on a study of Swedish listed companies’ publicly reported work on environmental and human rights. This year Swedbank was awarded Best in the industry on environment.

  • Swedbank gets award for risk reporting

    Swedbank has been named as the Swedish company that most clearly reports its risks. At Ernst & Young's annual risk conference in Stockholm Friday 14 October, Swedbank was presented with the Risk Transparency Award.

  • Award to Swedbank’s index-linked bonds.

    Swedbank’s index-linked bonds won the ”Best Performance” prize in a survey conducted by the magazines Euromoney and Structured Retail Products. The survey covered public index-linked bonds that matured during 2010.

  • Swedbank appointed best Swedish bank regarding electronic services

    According to the Swedish survey “Finansbarometern” – conducted by the market research company Eastbrook – Swedbank is this year’s best Swedish bank when it comes to electronic services.

  • Swedbank chosen as the most customer friendly bank in Estonia

    In the hierarchy of the most customer friendly large Estonian companies, Swedbank shares the first position with Neste, according to the TNS Emor survey performed for the second year. The ranking is based on two parameters: mean values of satisfaction and suggestion ratios on a 10-point scale.

  • Euromoney names Swedbank best bank in Lithuania and Estonia

    Euromoney, the world’s leading financial markets magazine, announced the best banks of 2011. Swedbank was recognized as the best bank both in Estonia and Lithuania, and awarded The Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2011.

  • Swedbank award-winner in two categories regarding their investor relations work (IR)

    Swedbank has been awarded the distinction “Best investor relations by a Swedish company” for the second year in a row as well as “The best investor relations by sector in Europe, bank/finance” by IR Magazine.

  • Anna Nilsson awarded ESG prize by CFA Sweden

    Anna Nilsson, Head of sustainability analysis at Swedbank Robur, has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) prize to the person/organization that has meant the most to raise awareness of ESG *- issues in the investment process.

  • Swedbank Robur has received an award for its non-profit funds

    On May 12, Swedbank Robur was awarded as the "Leading European Charity Fund Provider" and received first prize in the "Profit for Non Profit Award” in the category “Charity Funds ".

  • Swedbank named best bank in Estonia

    Global Finance, the renowned international magazine, recently named the best banks in the Central and Eastern Europe markets. Swedbank won the title in both Estonia and Latvia.

  • Swedbanks environmental training is best in Sweden 2010

    Swedbank’s environmental training called ”Environment and Sustainability” won the category “Best e-learning” at Swedish Learning Awards on 24 March 2011. The prize was awarded by Promise, the industry association for e-learning companies and interactive media, and by Swedish Learning Association, an organisation representing the competence development industry.

    Swedbank has been named the “Employer Branding company of the year” at Universum Awards, Universum Communications’ yearly event.
